Naturopathic theory
The perception of humans by naturopathy
Natural medicine perceives the human body as an open self-regulating system highly interlinked with its specific environment and its various sub-systems. That is why a systemic interlinked approach is essential. The body can be considered as an open system despite all kinds of external influences incessantly unbalancing its equilibrium. This state of flux balance is called “health”.
To sum up: the bodily regulatory mechanisms are physiologically able to restore their own equilibrium. The aim of Naturopathy consists of stimulation and support for the individual regulatory mechanism.
The cyclogeny of bacteria according to Enderlein
Enderlerlein empirically mapped the relationships for various bacteria and fungi. He tends to think that bacteria and fungi change under different environmental conditions. They are able to switch from a beneficial symbiotic role within a healthy milieu (extracellular matrix of the soft tissue) to a destructive degenerative role, inducing ailments and diseases. He proved that the chain of pleomorphic variants is able to reverse the upward progression. He called it down-regulating mechanism, known today as isopathic regression.
Enderlein identified two forms of colloids (called endobionts), he believed to be derived from a long history of co-evolutionary interaction between mammals and the fungi Mucor racemosus and Aspergillus niger.
- The Mucor racemosus colloid in its most highly upward form contributes to the process of blood clotting. The down-regulation or regression of it has a profound effect on cardiovascular health.
- The Aspergillus niger colloid in its most highly upward form contributes to the formation of bone tissue and to connective tissue in general and especially to the function of the cell walls. The Aspergillus niger is the pleomorphic culminant of the family that include Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This bacterium and its downward regression forms, the Aspergillus niger, causes chronic diseases.
- Moreover, the Penicillium cyclogeney develops on the top of the Mucor and Aspergillus cyclogeney. It acts as a substitute for acute diseases.
Enderlein’s theory about pleomorphic progression, culminating in either bacterial or fungal cells could be confirmed by various experiments carried out by Stuart Grace.
He concludes that “fully evolved organisms may devolve within a host, becoming an intelligent molecular and genetic system capable of reconstituting functional cells from the devolved ,disassembled parts.” (Grace, S, 2001).
